Emergency Medical Technician Preparation Certificate of Completion

This noncredit certificate is your first step towards a career in the emergency or rescue service industry. With the knowledge you gain from this certificate, you can become one of the heroes who serve the community. Learn the basics you need to be a successful first responder, including:

  • Rescuer CPR
  • Patient Assessments and Standards Care
  • Medical, Legal and Ethical Issues.

Certificate of Completion Form

If you have completed all the required classes, fill out and submit this form to the Office of Adult and Community Education at adulted@lahc.edu. This form must be completed and submitted to receive the certificate. Certificate of competency will be mailed in 6-8 weeks.
