Scholarships without ESSAYS or GPA REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must be attending a community college, university, or graduate school. Students must register for the scholarship competition and answer the questions that are emailed to the student. The student will receive a score at the end of each round. Student receiving the highest score will be awarded a scholarship.

2009-2010 Dr. Denny Ko Future Entrepreneurs Scholarship

One of the primary purposes of this program is to foster leadership and entrepreneurship in students

 

Applicant eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a full time undergraduate or graduate student in the United States

  • Applicant should possess academic excellence and extra-curricular activities

 Application Steps:

The application must be submitted via email on or before January 15, 2010

 

Award amount:  up to $2,000 per person

Western Union Foundation Family Scholarship

The Family Scholarship Program is intended to help two (2) members of the same family move up the economic development ladder through education.

 

Eligibility:

  • All applicants must be age 18 or older

  • Country of origin for at least one applicant must be outside the US

  • Application must include educational providers for primary and secondary award recipients (must be two family members)

  • Western Union employees, Western Union Agents and dependents are not eligible to apply

2010-2011 JVS Scholarship Fund

The 2010-2011 JVS Scholarship Fund is a need based program that provides scholarships for college

 

According to donor designation, all applicants must:

  1. Be Jewish

  2. Be a US citizen or legal permanent US resident

  3. Be a permanent and legal resident of LA county

  4. Attend an accredited college or vocational school for a minimum of 12 units per term

  5. Maintain a minimum 2.7 grade point average

The online application period begins January 4, 2010 and closes March 12, 2010

2009-2010 Real Estate Endowment Fund

The 2009-2010 Real estate Endowment Fund Scholarship is meant to aid community college students majoring in Real Estate.

 

Qualifications:

REAL ESTATE MAJORS ONLY

  • Applicants must complete 6 units of Real Estate classers for each semester funded

  • Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA for all college courses

  • Applicants must have financial need or meet income criteria
