Fee Waivers
The Board of Governors Enrollment Fee Waiver (BOGFW) offers 3 ways to help low income students pay the enrollment fee. The BOGFW is a waiver and does not require repayment. It is not tied to any other financial aid programs so it can be processed quickly. BOGFW applicants do not have to be enrolled in a specific number of courses and it pays the enrollment fees for the academic year and summer sessions. For instance, if you receive a BOGFW for the 2013-14 academic year, summer 2013, fall 2013, winter 20124 and spring 2014 terms are covered. You must complete the BOGFW application, FAFSA, or California Dream Act Application (for AB 540 students).
New – AB 540 students can apply for a fee waiver with either a paper BOGFW application or by completing the California Dream Act application online
You are eligible for a BOGFW if:
