SPRING 2010 BOOK AWARD/CASH GRANT

If you had a remaining balance on your book award that you would still like to use, please see Tim in the EOPS office ASAP! Remember, you can only use your book award for books.


If you are expecting a cash grant from EOPS, they will be disbursed around the end of March/beginning of April.  If by the middle of April you still haven't received your cash grant, please contact Tim in the EOPS office.

 

We will not be offering ASO/Parking Fee Waivers for the spring semester.

SPRING 2010 CONTACT DATES

 

First Contact:

Mon., January 11 - Fri., March 19
Your first contact must be with an EOPS counselor

 

Second Contact:

Mon., March 15 - Fri., April 23

PROGRESS REPORTS DUE
Your second contact can be with an EOPS counselor, EOPS peer advisor, or with a counselor from another program

 

Third Contact:

Mon., April 19 - Fri., May 28

Your third contact must be with an EOPS counselor

 

WORKSHOPS

EOPS students are required to attend at least one workshop each semester and submit verification of attendance to the EOPS Office. 

 

EOPS is now offering workshops as part of a collection of workshops being presented by Student Services.  Please click this workshop link and scroll to the bottom of the page to see the current offering of workshops.

 

PROGRESS REPORT

Progress reports are due at the time of your second contact.  Please click here to download the progress report form (in pdf format).  If you have a progress report form from another program, we will accept it in the place of our form.

 

2009-2010 GRADUATES
If you graduated in the fall or will be graduating this spring, contact the EOPS Office to sign up to receive a complimentary cap and gown to wear during the commencement ceremony in June.

 

EOPS LAB

The EOPS Lab is open to EOPS students to do homework, write reports, conduct research, login to online classes, and any other school-related computer activities. Lab time can be scheduled in the EOPS Office.

 

TUTORING

Due to a budget reduction, we are only offering tutoring in Math and limited tutoring in English.  Math tutoring is available Monday through Friday from 9am-12pm. Please check in the EOPS Office for English tutoring availability.

 

We strongly encourage students to form study groups, and we welcome any offers from volunteer tutors.
