FALL 2010 BOOK AWARD/CASH GRANT
Because of limited funds this semester, it is unlikely that all students' books will be covered. Be prepared to obtain a portion of your books through sources such as amazon.com or by borrowing from other students.
EOPS book awards are available at the date and time listed on the list your name appears on. If there are instructions listed next to your student information, you must follow those instructions before attempting to use your book award. You can only use your book award for books and you must use it by the deadline date. Please notify Tim before the deadline expires if there are any issues that prevent you from using your book award by the deadline date.
Please note that processing of book awards is ongoing and if your name does not appear on the list it could mean that your award hasn't been processed yet. Please contact Tim in the EOPS office for more information.

EOPS PROBATIONARY STATUS
For students notified that they are on EOPS probation this semester, you will need to complete a probation workshop. Please contact the EOPS office to schedule a probation workshop--failure to attend this workshop for probationary students will result in loss of program benefits.
FALL 2010 CONTACT DATES
First Contact:
Mon., August 2nd - Fri., October 8th
Your first contact must be with an EOPS counselor.
Second Contact:
Mon., October 4th - Fri., November 12th
PROGRESS REPORTS DUE
Your second contact can be with an EOPS counselor, EOPS peer advisor, or with a counselor from another program.
Third Contact:
Mon., November 8th - Fri., December 10th
Your third contact must be with an EOPS counselor.
WORKSHOPS
EOPS students are required to attend at least one workshop each semester and submit verification of attendance to the EOPS Office.
EOPS is now offering workshops as part of a collection of workshops being presented by Student Services. Please click this workshop link and scroll to the bottom of the page to see the current offering of workshops.
PROGRESS REPORT
Progress reports are due at the time of your second contact. Please click here to download the progress report form (in pdf format). If you have a progress report form from another program, we will accept it in the place of our form.
EOPS LAB
The EOPS Lab is open to EOPS students to do homework, write reports, conduct research, login to online classes, and any other school-related computer activities. Lab time can be scheduled in the EOPS Office.
TUTORING
Due to a budget reduction, we are only offering tutoring in Math and limited tutoring in English. Math tutoring is available. Please check in the EOPS Office for Math & English tutoring availability.
We strongly encourage students to form study groups, and we welcome any offers from volunteer tutors.
