The purpose and mission of the LAHC Public Safety Program is to prepare students to successfully compete for careers within the criminal justice system, fire science and EMT fields by exposing students to relevant curriculum presented in well designed core and elective courses that meet the needs of our iindustry partners.

Los Angeles Harbor College's Public Safety Program is dedicated to excellence in education and training. LAHC is now offering a full curriculum in the field of Public Safety to include the academic studies in Law Enforcement, Fire Science, Correctional Science (Parole and Probation). These fields of study may be taken in a traditional classroom environment, accelerated P.A.C.E. program, completely online or in a hybrid format.
