This meeting was devoted entirely to reviewing the bond measure projects list for editorial changes.
Joyce Ricci asked to be certain that the gym renovation includes new bleachers and scoreboard and that the Assessment Center should be included in the new Student Support Services Center. All concurred this was intended.
Mr. Ealer distributed an extract outlining the additional gross square foot total for buildings that would be gained and the number of classroom/labs total that would gained or lost (from demolishing). Dr. Spink had hoped we would have gained more classroom space than what was shown. The Facilities Master Plan has been moved up to be included in Project I.
The following changes were agreed upon:
Project 1, Item 2:
Add: Provide additional utilities and electric systems to support campus facilities as required.
Project 1, Item 3:
Change the word Modernize to Renovate and include floor and window treatments.
Project 1, Item 4:
Change the word Modernize to Renovate and include new paint, floors and carpet.
Project II, Item 1:
Add: Provide Master Plan and Utilities Analysis.
Project II, Item 8:
Change square feet from 16,000 to 30,000 and Community Services Building to Classroom Building.
Project II, Item 11:
Correct the name from General Services to General Classroom Building.
Project III, Item 1:
Change the word Modernize to Renovate.
Project IV, Item 3:
Add the following: Renovate tennis and racquetball courts.
