Located in Wilmington, California, Los Angeles Harbor College is a two year, community college. The Music Department offers courses of study through which students may earn an Associate of Arts degree, prepare for transfer to a four year college or university music program, or earn one of several Commercial Music Certificates that are offered. With a faculty and staff of music professionals and a low tuition fee of $20 per unit, Harbor College is a great choice for continuing music education.

The Music Recital Hall

| The nearly 200 seat Music Recital Hall, which is currently being rennovated, provides a warm, intimate venue for a wide variety of concert performances. With 50-80 concert events each year, audiences can enjoy guitar, piano, and voice class recitals, faculty artist recitals, and concerts by all of our fine Harbor College performance ensembles. In addition, we host several concerts each year featuring some of the finest professional musicians in the greater Los Angeles area. Free monthly chamber music concerts sponsored in cooperation with the South Bay Chamber Music Society feature top-notch classical musicians presenting the works of master composers. Those looking for outstanding performances of the latest in Jazz and World Music will enjoy another monthly series sponsored in cooperation with Lira Productions. Our concert season offers something for everyone. |
