SUSANNE AULTZ, originally from Ohio, received the Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance and education from Muskingum College and the Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She has also furthered her musical studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria; the American Institute of Musical Studies in Freiburg, Germany; the International Music Symposium in Lyon, France; and at UCLA and USC. As a singer Ms. Aultz has performed with the Kenton, Ohio Symphony, The Central City Opera in Colorado, the Long Beach Grand Opera and Civic Light Opera and is presently singing with the Pacific Chorale. As a teacher, she has been on the music faculties at Findlay University-Ohio, CSU Fullerton, Golden West College. She has served on the Music Faculty at Harbor College since 1976. She currently teaches Voice, Fundamentals, Musical Theater Repertoire, and Music Appreciation.
Susanne Aultz has retired from teaching at Los Angeles Harbor College as of the Fall 2007 and continues an active singing career. |
