Information technology OVERVIEW                             

Information Technology Department operates and maintains the Harbor College computing environment, the campus telephone system, presentation equipment, printers and most copiers on campus. All new electronic equipment passes through I.T. for inventory and configuration/installation as needed. We operate video cable channel 43, provide technical support for the campus TV studio, and make video-cassette copies for PACE program students. As a side-line, we  repair VCR's, typewriters and almost anything else electronic for the college community.

We view ourselves as a service organization. We are striving to be a "same-day" or "next-business-day" operation, so that whether your problem is a "locked up" computer, a malfunctioning telephone, a printer that won't print or a video projector that won't project, we'll be able to solve your problem quickly and without much fuss. We want to be able to deliver any new equipment that comes through our hands within two weeks from delivery to the college. To achieve these goals, we have assembled an excellent work team who strive to keep current on newest technology and we're continually upgrading equipment to meet campus needs.
