Graduation ceremony 2010
The Graduation Ceremony recognizing the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 graduates will be held on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the LAHC Seahawks’ Football Stadium.
The ceremony will be a celebration to recognize the hard work and accomplishments of our graduates as they complete their studies at Harbor College.
THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION:
MARCH 1, 2010.
Students who miss the deadline to apply for Graduation or petition to walk in the ceremony may not be provided any tickets to the ceremony.
Graduates, family, LAHC faculty and staff are encouraged to view all the ceremony information available on this website.
Basic Information
Ceremony Ticket Distribution to Graduates at LAHC Bookstore: May 3rd - May 28th
Caps, Gowns, and Announcements Available to Purchase at LAHC Bookstore: May 3rd - June 8th at 12:00 noon
Caps & Gowns - $ 22.95 Announcements - $ 15.95/pkg
Graduation Rehearsal: June 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the PE/Wellness Center
Child Care Available During Rehearsal for Graduating Parents: June 9th from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
*Must fill out and return the Child Care Request Form by May 28th.
Graduation Portraits: June 9th from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the PE/Wellness Center
Graduates Meet Pre-Ceremony: June 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the PE/Wellness Center
Graduation Ceremony: June 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the LAHC Football Stadium
Important Reminders
* Regular Graduates wear the Blue Caps and Gowns
* Nursing Graduates wear the White Caps and Gowns
* To ensure that no damage is done to the track and for the
safety of our students, Graduates are only allowed to wear
flat shoes for the rehearsal and ceremony. Flat shoes
include: flip flops, sneakers, and flat sandals. NO HEELS of
any type will be allowed. Graduates may bring their shoes to
rehearsal if they are unsure of what “flat shoes” means.
* There is a No Smoking policy for the PE/Wellness Center
and Football Stadium.
