academic senate
Executive Summary,
Harbor College Academic Senate
Regular Meeting,
1:00, Thursday, February 21, 2008
Administrative Report
Dr. Spink reported on the Board of Trustees' approach to the intended Prop. AAA. Colleges are being asked to make two submissions, one assuming a total bond request of $5 billion, the other assuming a $2.5 billion total. Harbor will be allocated approximately 10% of the total, which our current request does equal. There was some discussion of proposed priorities and what items might be omitted for the reduced amount.
Mr. Rosas reported that the accreditation progress report copies have been submitted to the district. Thanks were again extended to Ms. Shue for her authorship. Lora Lane has accepted the position of SLO coordinator. An informal interview committee has been formed to fill the provisional position as LAC director.
