Call to order and approval of agenda
Ms. J. Smith commended the school for the 7% increase in WSCH reported by Mr. Rosas.
Administrative Report
Mr. Rosas will appear at the district office tomorrow to justify our request for $300,000 in additional funding to cover our increase in enrollment. The LAC position announcement has been issued. Mr. Humphreys announced the availability of a .2 reassigned time position as SLO coordinator. There is a concern over whether or not part-time personnel should be eligible for reassigned time at Harbor College.

Proposed Basic Skills Expenditures
MSU (Stanbery/McMurray) to endorse the Basic Skills Committee proposal with the addition of $25,000 for general tutoring, on the understanding that the committee will reassess the extent to which Supplemental Instruction and reading and writing across the curriculum can be incorporated into the authorized activities. [See attachment.]
Accreditation Report
Ms. Shue summarized the latest proposed version of the report. Once the draft is approved by the Senate, it will be submitted to the chancellor later this month, and through him to the Board of Trustees.
Unanimous consent to approve the revised draft with specified non-substantive adjustments, with commendations to Ms. Shue for her fine work.
