Meeting called to order at 3:05 pm.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES, 10/11/06
Minutes accepted with changes.
VIEW TV SPOT (taken out of order on Agenda)
The TV spot was viewed; discussion included al Punto requesting Larry to do a new spot for Spring advertising.
2. REVIEW OF UNIT PLAN (INCLUDING BUDGET)
The Unit Plan was reviewed, including the budget, with special attention to the Staffing Priorities, including Public Information Office, secretaries for the Deans, Half-time Web Designer. Discussion points included:
ACTION ITEMS: L. Spink requested N. Tan have the budget, run by department and item, for the next cluster meeting. Also to be presented at the next meeting is the Economic Development Cluster budget.
3... STUDENT SATISFACTION SURVEY: A. Tomlinson discussed the last student satisfaction survey done; 1500 copies had been distributed. Questions for the next survey were discussed, including safety in actuality and perception, recommending the college to others. Also discussed were offering classes in afternoons, asking instructors to take on extra classes and students.
4/5/6. MARKETING/WEBSITE: The website re-design was discussed. It was decided to revisit the subject again in late spring, after the al Punto web re-design contract had expired. The al Punto contract was discussed, including ownership and logistics of updating the website after the re-design has been implemented. A. Patterson will be on the task force for web design and will report to the cluster. Focus group comments were discussed; phones on campus not being answered is a recurring area of complaint, as were the counselors. Also discussed was the new cover the catalog, as well as the Winter and Spring 2007 schedule of classes.
