Tissa Munasinghe, Ph.D, received his doctorate in Earth Sciences from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego, and his B.S. in Geology from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He joined Harbor College faculty in Fall of 1998. He teaches Geology 1 and 6, Oceanography 1 and 10, and Geography 31.
Research interests include marine tectonics and high-grade metamorphic rocks.
