Kathleen Hitt attended Glendale Community College before transferring to Occidental College where she earned her B.A. with distinction, with a minor in Art History. In 2000 she studied the History and Architecture of Oxford, at Merton College, Oxford, England through U.C. Berkeley. She received her M.A. in History with honors from CSUN in 2004. Kathleen teaches Western Civ I & II, U.S. History 11 and 12, and U.S. Twentieth Century history at Pierce, L.A. Harbor College & College of the Canyons. She recently published entries in ABC-CLIO Encyclopedia of World War II (2004), Encyclopedia of the American Revolutionary War (2006) and Military Communications: from Ancient Times to 21st Century (2007), (Military Communications, Medieval period) all for ABC-CLIO. Kathleen was Film Researcher for Washington the Warrior and Washington’s Generals telecast on the History Channel.
