Human Anatomy and Physiology 7th edition by Marieb

 

Grading:

Grades will be determined by a combination of lecture

exams and lab exercises. The lab portion will be worth

1/3 of the final grade, while the lecture portion will be

worth 2/3 of the final grade. The lecture portion will

consist of 3 exams worth100 points each and a final

exam worth 200 points. Lecture exams and final

exam will be multiple choice. Bring a scantron

form to each exam.

Letter grades will be assigned on a scale of total

points as follows:

100-90% = A

89-80% = B

79-70% = C

69-60% = D

<60% = F

Make-up exams: There will be no make up

exams; If it is necessary to miss an exam, please

inform the instructor ahead of time.

 

Materials Fee: There is a $20 materials fee

for this class. This money is used to buy

chemicals and other supplies during lab.
The lab fee should be paid at the book store and

the receipt turned in to the lecture instructor with

your name printed on it. If the lab fee is not paid

by the date of the first exam, the exam will not be graded. Once the lab fee is paid, the exam will be scored and returned.

 

Attendance: Attendance is crucial to being

successful in this class. Any student that is

absent more than six hours of lecture and

lab combined may be dropped from the

class at the instructor’s discretion
