Health EDUCATION 11
Online Class Information
Hello, I am Paula F. Brown, your instructor for the Health Education 11 class. Are you ready for an online class? This class will require you to take responsibility for your education. What this means is that you will familiarize yourself with the website, read the textbook and lecture and complete all tasks, discussions and exams in a timely manner. There will be two online office hours where I will be available in chat each week. In addition to this there is an area to send me private messages or ask general questions. You will have a good amount of interaction between your peers and I.
The text we will use is Health the Basics, 9th Edition, brief by Donatelle. The ISBN# is 9780321626400. It is the green edition and can be found at a discount in the college bookstore.
There is an online version of the text which costs $53.99 and gives you more flexibility as you work. It can be accessed for one year, and pages can be copied if you'd like. Buy an online version that is accessed online at anytime.

Your class material will not be available until Monday, February 6th at 12:01 am. You can, however, complete your first discussion which is your introduction on Sunday.
In the “discussions” area, you will find your first discussion assignment. Follow the directions and introduce yourself to the instructor and your peers (first 10 points). This will be an informative and enjoyable class. See you inside.
