Student Learning Outcomes: At the end of the semester you will be able to:
- Describe the six dimensions of wellness and a wellness lifestyle and be able to discuss how you would incorporate these into your life.
- Describe the steps in creating a behavior change plan and apply them to change one of your health related behaviors.
- Explain the physical, emotional and behavioral reactions to stress as well as the relationship of stress to disease.
- Explain how to develop and maintain a positive self concept and healthy self-esteem.
- Identify and evaluate the role of several lifestyle choices as they interact with and relate to health.
