harbor ONLINE
Los Angeles Harbor College offers two online Public Safety degree programs. The two programs are Administration of Justice (Criminal Justice) and Fire Technology. LAHC supports these programs with complete access to online courses, learning resources, library services, student services - including admissions and records, financial aid, tutoring, and student counseling. These online degrees are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and approved by the State Department of Education.
- Flexible Schedule
- No On-Campus Meetings. While the program does not require on-campus meetings, some courses may require instructor arranged proctored exams.
- No Self-Paced Courses. We do not offer self-paced courses. Courses follow a schedule similar to a traditional face-to-face course. You will be expected to access your course, interact with your classmates and instructors, and complete assignments on a well-defined schedule.
- Highly Interactive Courses. Courses require that students interact with classmates and instructor, and although your fellow classmates or instructor may be located thousands of miles away from you, you won't feel isolated!
- Public Safety Degree Courses. Required courses for the degree are, or soon will be, available completely online (see recommended degree pattern for details).
The purpose of the academic roadmap on left is to serve as a guide for planning one’s academic coursework required to obtain an Associate in Science Degree in either Administration of Justice or Fire Technology. For further information please contact the Social and Behavioral Science Office.
