Description: On completion of this course the student
will be a competent gardener and groundskeeper with the knowledge of a
safe working environment, plant use and placement, turf grasses and
their needs, tree and plant pruning, upkeeping such as water irrigation
methods and sprinkler care, and use and maintenance of power equipment,
hand tools, turf fertilizers and soil amendments.
