The Seahawks trailed early and fought to keep pace with visiting Mt. San Antonio College before allowing a season-high in goals in the loss.

Harbor College 2, East Los Angeles College 2

Trailing 2-1 with less than a minute remaining, Eric Medina head-butted a shot in for goal off an Alex Chavez assist to give Harbor a 2-2 tie at Casey Field.

Greg Williams had five saves for the game, while Jose Mejia scored the first goal for the Seahawks.

Cerritos College 3, Harbor College 1

The streaking men's soccer team saw its eight-game winnings streak end at the feet of Cerritos College in a 3-1 loss at Cerritos.

Ralph Delgado scored a goal off an assist from Edson Lemus for Harbor's scoring, but the defense struggled to hold down the 4th-ranked Falcons as Greg Williams had five saves in full-time action.

Harbor College 1, El Camino College 0

Alex Chavez and Eric Medina combined once more to propel Harbor to victory, as Medina scored the lone goal off a Chavez assist to give Harbor its eighth consecutive victory in a 1-0 win at El Camino.

Greg Williams had eight saves in full-time action and recorded his fourth shutout victory of the season.

Harbor College 4, Long Beach City College 1

Alex Chavez scored two goals and added an assist to propel the 15th-ranked Harbor men's soccer team to a 4-1 win over visiting Long Beach City College.

The Seahawks won their seventh straight game and move to 3-0 in South Coast Conference play. LBCC made the game interesting with a goal five minutes into the game to lead 1-0.

However, the game was all Harbor from there, as Ralph Delgado scored off an Eric Medina miss/assist to tie the game in the 9th minute. After trading shots for most of the half, Chavez picked off an LBCC pass and scored unassisted in the 30th minute to put Harbor up 2-1 heading into halftime.

Behind several key saves by Greg Willams (14 for the game), Harbor held LBCC at bay in the second half and got what was one of the more impressive assists this season as Moises Balderas faked out a LBCC forward and sailed a pass from 25 yards out to Chavez, who nailed his second goal to push the lead to 3-1.

The Seahawks put the game out of reach in the 80th minute as Edson Lemus scored a goal up the middle from a fastbreak assist from Chavez.

Harbor College 4, Compton College 2

Behind goals from Alex Chavez and Eric Medina, the visiting men's soccer team defeated Compton College 4-2.

Harbor has won its sixth straight contest and got eight saves from Greg Williams.

Harbor College 8, Pasadena City College 1

The men's soccer team won its fifth straight game in a one-sided South Coast Conference-opening victory at Casey Field.

Harbor was poised from the opening minute to the end, stifling a Lancer team that eliminated it in last year's COA playoffs. Harbor led 3-0 at halftime and coasted with its reserves from there, scoring five goals (two of them coming from Hector Lopez) in the second half. Greg Williams had 10 saves for the game.

Harbor College 8, Marymount College 0

The Harbor College men's soccer team put on a dominant display all over the field and defeated visiting Marymount College 8-0 for its fourth straight victory, fifth overall.

Eric Medina and Guillermo Beltran each scored two goals for Harbor, which out-shot Marymount an astounding 27-1.

Goalkeeper Greg Williams got to play defender in the second half after playing a rather quiet first half with two saves. Freddy Ortiz replaced Williams in the second half. Williams even scored, getting a penalty kick in the 89th minute.

Harbor College 2, Orange Coast College 0

The visiting Seahawks won their third straight game as Moises Balderas and Carlos Arroyo each scored to down the Pirates.

Harbor College 1, San Diego Mesa College 0

After several shots were stopped or were sailing over the opposing net, the Los Angeles Harbor men's soccer team got a shot from Moises Balderas off an Alex Chavez assist in the 50th minute to take a lead and preserve a 1-0 win Friday evening at Casey Field.

Harbor (3-1-1) attacked early and often and out-shot the Olympians 17-4. San Diego Mesa could have been down 2-0, but an open shot by Eric Medina clearly missed the goal.

Greg Williams had five saves for the game in his first shutout victory this season.

Harbor College 3, Southwestern College 2

The men's soccer team notched its second win of the season with a close victory over the host Jaguars.

Harbor College 2, Glendale College 2

Trailing 2-0 and seemingly facing a second straight loss, the Los Angeles Harbor men's soccer team made a tremendous rally in the second half and tied Glendale College 2-2 Tuesday evening at Casey Field.

Harbor (1-1-1) allowed its first two shots from Glendale to be goals, both within minutes of each other (23rd and 26th). Harbor went into halftime out-maneuvered on both ends of the field.

The Seahawks, however, turned the tables on Glendale and attacked the Vaqueros with countless shots, one of them coming from Eric Medina off an Alex Chavez miss in the 54th minute to cut the deficit to one.

Nearly a half-hour later, a breakaway score by Jose Mejia off an assist by Rodolfo Jauregui gave the Seahawks life once more and tied the score at two with three minutes remaining.

The game became very physical and nearly in Harbor's favor from there, as a desperation kick from Medina within the last minute went off the goal post and barely missed the net.

Greg Williams finished with five saves for the game.

Rio Hondo College 4, Harbor College 1

The Seahawks were unable to keep up with hard-charging Rio Hondo in a three-goal loss.

Harbor College 4, Los Angeles Mission 1

The Los Angeles Harbor men's soccer team opens up its regular season in convincing fashion with a 4-1 win over the visiting Eagles.

Harbor got a goal and assist from freshman Eric Medina, as the Seahawks (1-0) played without last season's standout Alex Chavez. Harbor staked out to a 1-0 lead after a Guillermo Beltran goal in the 25th minute off Medina's assist. L.A. Mission responded with a goal in the 33rd minute, but Harbor struck right back with an acrobatic score by Jose Casillas in the 36th minute to give the Seahawks a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Harbor pushed the lead to two in the 56th minute as Medina scored a rather easy penalty kick. Felipe Ortiz completed the scoring with a scintillating connection from Rodolfo Jauregui in the 66th minute to put the Eagles out of reach.

Harbor, despite allowing 16 shots from L.A. Mission, got 14 saves from Greg Williams and managed to score four goals on only nine shots.
