Players Moving On
The Harbor College men's basketball program will be sending seven players to the next level after a successful 21-7 season that saw the Seahawks clinch a share of the South Division title in the South Coast Conference. With tremendous support of these five student-athletes, the Seahawks reached the quarterfinal round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs.
Forward Andre Foster has signed with Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, TX. Foster tied a team-high with 51.6 percent shooting from the field and was second on the team with 5.6 rebounds per game, earning an Honorable Mention spot in the All-SCC South Division Team.
Andre's brother, Anthony Foster, has also signed with Jarvis Christian College. The guard/forward averaged 11.1 points per game on the year, while shooting 37.4 percent from the three-point line. Anthony Foster's 5.4 rebounds per game ranked third on the squad, while his 2.5 assists per game ranked second. Foster earned All-SCC South Division Team honors.
The third player to sign with Jarvis Christian College is guard Kenneth Greene, who was a key contributor off the bench with 5.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Guard Jamar Cannon signed with Peru State College in Nebraska. Cannon was the three-point specialist and leading scorer for the Seahawks, averaging a team-high 14 points per game on 47.5 percent shooting, while connecting on 41.5 percent from beyond the arc. Cannon earned All-SCC South Division honors for the year.
Forward Ronald Robinson signed with Presentation College in South Dakota. Robinson played only 11 games due to injury, but managed to average 4.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in rotational rolesn the starting lineup and off the bench.
Center Cary Brooks signed with Jarvis Christian College. Harris played 22 games and started two of them, averaging 3.9 points per game and shooting 72 percent from the free throw line.
Andrew Garber signed with Portland Bible College. Garber did not play last season.
Stephen Knox signed with Wilberforce University. Knox averaged 4.5 points per game in 27 contests last season, shooting 70.5 percent from the free throw line.
