butler scrambles for 136 yards, but harbor blanked again at home
With regular starter Bram Kohlhausen sidelined again, the Harbor football team's aerial attack was grounded in a 17-0 loss to visiting Allan Hancock College in non-conference action Saturday night.
Receiver Corey Butler and backup quarterback Colton Glandorf shared snaps, with each scrambling on Wildcat plays for a combined 167 yards on the ground, 136 coming from Butler on 24 carries. The Seahawks were held to just 11 yards passing, with Butler completing the lone throw to running back Barry Thomas.
Linebacker Daniel Torres had a breakout game with 17 tackles (13 solo), while defensive back Trey Martin finished with seven tackles and three pass breakups. Basil Boyd secured the game's only interception, picking off Bulldogs quarterback Anthony Baez in the end zone during the 2nd quarter.
Harbor will resume National Central Conference play with a road match-up at Mt. San Antonio Saturday at 6 p.m.
