2010-2011 LAHC Cheerleading Tryouts

Who we are!

Cheer Team

Yes!! The LA Harbor College cheerleading team is recruiting. The primary role of the LAHC cheerleaders are: (1) to raise the level of fan support for interscholastic athletics by leading cheers, participating at halftimes, and travelling to all home and away games to support our football and basketball team; (2) to participate in the sport by performing gymnastics, partner stunts, motions, dance movements, and perfecting these athletic skills; (3) to serve as public ambassadors of interscholastic athletics, to uphold, reflect, and project the goals of LA Harbor College, and participate in activities, functions, programs, parades, public appearances, and fundraisers that help support interscholastic athletics. (4) To represent LAHC at competitive cheerleading competitions.

Why cheer for Harbor College?

Our cheer team travels to all home and away games with our champion Football team. In addition, the Harbor College cheer team attends cheer camp to build group cohesion and during the 2010/11 season, will be competing at a number of cheerleading competitions. It's also a great way to meet new people as well as enjoy all the new facilities Harbor College has to offer (new classrooms and gymnasium, etc).
